Two half-days of training on the LOTUS Model TM with the Center for Combatting Human Trafficking, designed for community leaders and service providers

Day one:

  • Increasing understanding of the definition and scope of human trafficking
  • Survivor risk and resilience factors
  • Understanding trafficking through a victim centered lens
  • A trauma-informed response to the needs of a child victim
  • Introducing tools for victims centered case planning

Day two:

  • Implementing the LOTUS Model TM at a local level
  • Operating principles for developing local protocols

Wichita --- June 29 1-5pm and June 30 8:30am-12pm
Topeka --- Aug. 10 1-5pm and Aug. 11 8:30am-12pm
Great Bend --- Aug. 24 1-5pm and Aug. 25 8:30am-12pm
Pittsburg --- Sept. 28 1-5pm and Sept. 29 8:30am-12pm
Garden City --- Nov. 2 1-5pm and Nov. 3 8:30am-12pm

Training is being provided through a grant from the Kansas Department for Children and Families.
